Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this is the machine for you! Small catch: the standard power output is too high for the graduated licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance power reductions, your motorcycle dream can become a reality immediately! With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance power-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded. A great deal of know-how goes into the development of power power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance power measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the aim is to maintain optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance power delivery as unchanged as possible. If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, the development and measurement effort is considerable, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle travel restrictors. 25 kW restrictions: Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years.
