Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you've seen your dream motorbike at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power output for a graduated licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorbikes of all power, performances classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development, as unchanged as possible.
If all requirements are met, a technical report is created by the technical service. Until then, it's a significant development and measurement effort that isn't immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictors work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
