Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, A2 driving licence holders can now enjoy a maximum of 35 kW, waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be reduced to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series production vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive expertise is invested in the development of power, performance reduction. Key factors must be considered here: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
