Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving license directive in 2013, holders of driving license class A2 can now enjoy a maximum of 35 kW. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving license class A2. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and twice the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Key factors must be taken into account: on one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible.
