Mechanical 35 kW restriction kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, owners of a Category A2 driving licence can now access a maximum of 35 kW, which they will want to unleash. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance categories become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current Category A2 driving licence. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series production vehicle must not be exceeded.
Much expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, the legal requirements, such as emissions, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, retaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
