Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of the A2 driving licence category can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance categories become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence category. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of expertise goes into the development of the power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust gas, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
