Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, ready to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust gas, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible.
