Electronic restriction to 35 kW for Euro 4 motorcycles:
With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, there are legal regulations such as exhaust, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery, as unchanged as possible.

From the beginning, alpha Technik has shaped the development of power, performance modifications for the new Euro 4 vehicles according to currently valid guidelines. Since the launch of the protected MCR restriction modules in 2016, we have been offering you and your customers reliable technology at the highest level and at a competitive price.

The latest version makes restriction for “ride by wire” vehicles even easier, faster and more convenient. These vehicles can now be reliably restricted to 35 kW without the previously used additional throttle plates (*). The newly developed control technology of the modules ensures the correct ratio of gas and air at all times.

The redundancy required by law is, of course, met, as is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Workshop time for installing the restriction is significantly reduced; installation is faster and very easy to carry out.
A major advantage of the MCR restriction for bikers remains the complete number-plate bracket of the throttle grip angle – every movement towards full throttle ensures propulsion!

(*) For Euro 4 vehicles with conventional throttle cables to the throttle bodies, the additional throttle plates remain an indispensable component for correct mixture composition – this prevents leaning out with reduced gas supply but fully open throttle valves.
