Proudly holding the A2 motorcycle licence in your hands, your dream motorcycle spotted at the dealer, distributor – this is the machine for you! Small catch: the standard power for the tiered licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performancesreduzierungen, the motorcycledream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performancesklassen become more interesting for the A2 licence holder, as almost any desired model can be brought down to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performancesgewicht of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power restriction. Essential factors must be considered here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust emissions, noise, and power, performancesmessungen according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the aim is to maintain optimal rideability and homogenous power delivery as unchanged as possible.
If all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, a high level of development and measurement effort is involved, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new Driving Licence Regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. All 25 kW restrictions operate mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary.
