Proudly holding your motorcycle licence A2, seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power for the graduated licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost every desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible retention of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery. If all requirements are met, a part certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a significant development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new Driving Licence Ordinance, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions function mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction occurs through the installation of specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
