With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much expertise goes into the development of power, performances restriction. Key factors must be considered here: on the one hand, statutory regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery. Once all requirements are met, an expert report is prepared by the technical service. Until then, it involves extensive development and measurement efforts, which are not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary.
