Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 driving licence, seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be it! Small catch: the standard power for the graduated driving licence is too high. Is it all a dream? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost every desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust gas, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a considerable development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new drivers had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed throttle plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
