With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performances restriction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it involves extensive development and measurement efforts, which are not immediately apparent from the sometimes unassuming restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years.
