Proudly holding your motorcycle driving licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power output is too high for the staged licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as emissions, noise and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery, as far as possible unchanged.
If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, the development and measurement effort is considerable, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle restrictors.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its large assortment, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions work by mechanical means; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract or with throttle restrictors.
