Proudly holding the motorcycle licence A2, seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be it! Slight catch: the standard power for the graduated licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one hand, there are legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, there is the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible. Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a significant development and measurement effort that isn't immediately apparent in the sometimes unassuming restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no electronic interventions are necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake manifold, or with throttle stops.
