Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you've spotted your dream motorbike at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power is too high for a staged licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance power reduction kits, your motorcycle dream instantly becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorbikes of all power, performance classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance power-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original vehicle's output must not be exceeded.

Much expertise goes into the development of power restriction kits. Essential factors must be considered here: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance power delivery, as unaltered as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a high development and metrological effort, which isn't immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle restrictors.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new Driving Licence Ordinance came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance power reduction occurs through the installation of specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract or with throttle restrictors.
