Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power for the graduated licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought down to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, there are legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery, as far as possible unchanged.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a high level of development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions operate mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is required. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
