Proudly holding the motorcycle driving licence A2, seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine MUST be it! Small catch: the standard power for the stepped licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With the restriction kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost every desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be considered here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is created by the technical service. Until then, there is a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
