One small catch: the standard power output for the graduated licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream instantly becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development. Once all requirements are met, a part certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a high development and metrological effort, which isn't immediately apparent from the sometimes unassuming restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new drivers had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions operate mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is required. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
