Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you've seen your dream motorbike at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power output for the stepped licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development.
If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a significant development and measurement effort that isn't immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed throttle plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
