On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, your motorcycle dream instantly becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing to motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performances of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original vehicle's output must not be exceeded.

A great deal of know-how goes into developing power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directives. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogenous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible.
If all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, the development and measurement effort is substantial, which is not always apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract or by using throttle stops.
