Proudly holding the A2 motorcyclelicence, seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be it! Small catch: the standard power, performance for the staged licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performancesreductions, the motorcycledream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcyclerider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power, performance of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performancesreduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, there are legal regulations such as exhaust, noise and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the aim is to maintain optimum rideability and homogeneous power, performances development as unchanged as possible.
If all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a considerable development and measurement effort that is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its large assortment, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions function mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performancesreduction is achieved by installing specially designed throttle plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
