Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 driving licence, seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be it! Small catch: the standard power for the graduated licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reduction kits, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development, as far as possible unchanged.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a considerable development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle restrictors and throttle stop limiters.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years.
