With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performance restriction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, the legal regulations, such as emissions, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogenous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new Driving Licence Regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years.
