Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've spotted your dream motorbike at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power for the tiered licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorbikes of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal requirements, such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the greatest possible preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a significant development and measurement effort that is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new drivers had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by A2 driving licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no interventions in the electronics are necessary. The power, performance reduction occurs through the installation of specially designed throttle plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
