Proudly holding your motorcycleA2 licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine MUST be yours! Small catch: the standard power output for the stepped licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances restrictions, your motorcycledream immediately becomes reality!

With restriction kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for motorcycleriders, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performances restrictions. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations, such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a significant development and measurement effort, which isn't always immediately apparent from the sometimes unassuming restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances restriction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
