Proudly holding your motorcycle driving licence A2, seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be it! Small catch: the standard power for the graduated licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reduction kits, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With restriction kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a high development and metrological effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its wide range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction occurs through the installation of specially developed throttle plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
