Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you've seen your dream motorbike at the dealer, distributor – this machine MUST be yours! Small catch: the standard power output is too high for the graduated licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal requirements, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a high level of development and measurement effort that isn't immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions operate mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
