On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought down to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance to weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.A great deal of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.25 kW Restrictions:Before the new driving licence ordinance came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its wide range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by holders of the A2 driving licence.
