Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 driving licence, seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this bike MUST be it! Small catch: the standard power output is too high for the staged driving licence. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances restrictions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances power-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performances restriction. Key factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery.
Once all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a significant development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous throttle restrictors and throttle travel limiters.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new drivers had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no interventions in the electronics are necessary.
