With power restriction kits from alpha Technik, motorbikes of all power, performance categories become more attractive for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side is the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible. Once all requirements are met, a part certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions operate mechanically; no electronic intervention is necessary. Power power, performance reduction occurs through the installation of specially designed throttle plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
