For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is additionally influenced to avoid negatively affecting exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption.
This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restrictor boxes is lightning fast for most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only with older electronic conversions using additional electronics do a few cable connections need to be made.

Fundamentally, with every restriction - whether mechanical or electronic - care is taken to keep the installation effort and necessary modifications to the vehicle as low as possible.
