For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is additionally influenced to avoid negatively affecting exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restrictor boxes is extremely quick for most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only for older electronic conversions with additional electronics are a few cable connections required.
