General description

Meeting friends, driving to school - being independent, mobile and free. alpha Technik restrictors make this possible. The product portfolio includes cost-effective mechanical conversions right up to performance-optimised replacement CDIs. This way, everyone finds the right solution for them. Available for a wide variety of scooter types, whether two-stroke engine or four-stroke engine, with carburetor or gas injection. Anything is possible.

Top quality for the highest demands on power, performance and riding comfort. Through a targeted intervention in the engine management of the moped engine, the speed and thus the power, performance are gently restricted to the permitted level upon reaching the respective maximum speed.

In newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is additionally influenced to avoid negatively affecting exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restrictor boxes is lightning-fast on most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only with older electronic conversions with additional electronics do a few cable connections need to be made.

Basically, with every restriction – whether mechanical or electronic – care is taken to keep the installation effort and the necessary modifications to the vehicle as low as possible.
