General Description

Meet friends, ride to school – be independent, mobile, and free. alpha Technik restrictor kits make this possible. The product portfolio ranges from affordable mechanical conversions to performance-optimised replacement CDIs. This ensures everyone finds the perfect solution for their needs. Available for a wide variety of scooter types, whether two-stroke or four-stroke engine, with carburetor or gas injection. Everything is possible.

Top quality for the highest demands on power, performance and riding comfort. Through targeted intervention in the engine management of the moped engine, the speed and thus the power, performance is gently restricted to the permissible level upon reaching the respective maximum speed.

For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is additionally influenced to avoid negatively affecting exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restrictor boxes is quick and easy for most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only for older electronic conversions with additional electronics are a few cable connections required.

Fundamentally, with every restriction – whether mechanical or electronic – care is taken to keep the installation effort and the necessary vehicle modifications as minimal as possible.
