General Description

Meet friends, ride to school - be independent, mobile, and free. alpha Technik's restrictor kits make this possible. The product portfolio ranges from inexpensive mechanical conversions to performance-optimised replacement CDIs. This way, everyone can find a suitable solution for themselves. Available for a variety of different scooter types, whether two-stroke or four-stroke engine, with carburetor or gas injection. Anything is possible.

Top quality for the highest demands on power, performance and riding comfort. By means of a targeted intervention in the engine management of the moped engine, the speed and thus the power, performance are gently braked to the permitted level upon reaching the respective top speed.

For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is also influenced to avoid negatively affecting exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restrictor boxes is lightning fast for most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only with older electronic conversions using additional electronics do a few cable connections need to be made.

Fundamentally, with every restriction – whether mechanical or electronic – care is taken to keep the installation effort and necessary modifications to the vehicle as low as possible.
