For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is also influenced to avoid negatively affecting exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restriction boxes is lightning-fast for most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only with older electronic conversions using additional electronics do a few cable connections need to be made.
