For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is additionally influenced, in order not to negatively impact exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. The connection of the restriction boxes is lightning-fast on most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only for older electronic conversion kits with additional electronics do a few cable connections need to be made.

Generally, with every restriction – whether mechanical or electronic – care is taken to keep the installation effort and the necessary modifications to the vehicle as low as possible.
