For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is additionally influenced to avoid negatively impacting exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restrictor boxes is quick for most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only for older electronic conversion kits with additional electronics do a few cable connections need to be made.

Fundamentally, with every restriction kit – whether mechanical or electronic – care is taken to keep the installation effort and necessary modifications to the vehicle as minimal as possible.
