For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is additionally influenced so as not to negatively affect exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit adapted to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restrictor boxes is lightning-fast on most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only with older electronic conversions with additional electronics do a few cable connections need to be made.
