For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is additionally influenced in order not to negatively affect exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restrictor boxes is lightning fast for most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only with older electronic conversion kits featuring additional electronics are a few cable connections required.
