The lowering kits are ideal for beginners, riding schools, and riders who feel more comfortable on a lower motorcycle. Riding dynamics change only insignificantly. As with all alpha Technik developed lowering kits, not only is the rear lowered, but the vehicle as a whole is considered, and (depending on the model) the front height may be adjusted. Taking into account valid approval guidelines, the best implementable variant, such as linkage levers, spring retainer or shock absorber mounts, is used, depending on the vehicle type.
