General Description

For many years, alpha Technik lowering kits have proven their worth, offering riders more enjoyment and a secure feeling on the motorcycle.

New from February 2018: The previous parts certificate for the lowering kits has been replaced by an ABE. The granting of the General Operating Permit, or ABE for short, by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (Kraftfahrtbundesamt) underlines the consistently high quality and operational safety of alpha Technik lowering kits over the years. A costly registration of the lowering in the vehicle documents is no longer necessary, thus saving money.

The lowering kits are ideal for beginners, driving schools, and riders who feel more comfortable all-round on a lower motorcycle. The riding dynamics change only insignificantly. Experience greater riding safety yourself with a lower bike. As with all alpha Technik lowering kits, not only is the rear lowered, but the vehicle as a whole is considered, and (depending on the model) the front height may be adjusted accordingly. Depending on the vehicle type, the most technically feasible variant is used, such as linkage levers, spring retainer, or shock absorbermount.

All lowering kits are supplied with the necessary conversion parts and detailed step-by-step fitting instructions. Reversion is straightforward and quick to perform.
