For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is also influenced to avoid negatively affecting exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restrictor boxes is quick and easy on most vehicles, as the plug connections are already prepared. Only with older electronic conversions involving additional electronics are a few cable connections required.
