AB11 alpha Technik sintered metal brake pad pair, RACING (without ABE) for vehicles according to the usage list and 4-piston brake caliper from Nissin.

General description

The racing brake pad for racing use.
Very good grip and very good responsiveness, especially under extreme conditions and the associated high temperature.

Sintered metal materials give these brake pad their unique properties.
The advantage lies in the composition of the material, where the components can be more finely dosed and then mixed to achieve desired properties such as wet braking behaviour, high initial braking performance, fading prevention, wear resistance, and much more. The powdered mixture is pressed into a compact brake pad under high pressure.

Sintered metal brake pads do not require the run-in period known from organic pads. However, the first braking attempts should still only be performed up to approximately 50% of the possible brake power to allow the new
alpha Technik brake pads to optimally adapt to the surface of the brake disc and form an corresponding deposit, i.e., a “deposit” of lining abrasion, on the brake disc.
This promotes brake power and helps to reduce wear of the brake disc.
