Mechanical 35 kW restrictor kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of the A2 driving licence category can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW that are waiting to be brought to life. With alpha Technik's restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence category. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal regulations, such as emissions, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the aim is to maintain the optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
