Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now enjoy a maximum of 35 kW that are waiting to be brought to life. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
