Mechanical 35 kW restrictor kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, riders holding an A2 licence can now unlock a maximum of 35 kW. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery, as far as possible unchanged.
