Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, owners of driving licence class A2 can now enjoy a maximum of 35 kW, which are waiting to be brought to life. With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to owners of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Key factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.
