Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, which they will want to bring to life. With the restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and twice the output power of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery.
